Welcome
More than likely, you found my page and are contemplating the decision to begin or restart therapy. Finding a therapist may be an overwhelming and anxiety-provoking time, especially when you feel as if your suffering is helpless and endless. Whether you're experiencing depression or anxiety that's manifesting in all major life areas, or finding yourself unable to stop abusing drugs or alcohol despite all of the negative consequences substances have caused in your life, or having difficulty in calming yourself down, managing stressors in your life, and maintaining healthy relationships, therapy can help.
What does therapy look like?

Therapy is where you and I work together to move forward and towards the goals you want to achieve. Depending on the intensity and severity of issues, therapy is not an overnight, quick fix. The therapy process takes time to build trust with your therapist and with yourself, as well as the courage to dig deep within yourself and face your fears and challenges head-on. Yes, therapy can be scary, but with hard work and the desire to change, you can find healing and achieve a life worth living.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works primarily with adults. My job is to create a safe, compassionate space for you and walk alongside you in your journey to growth, recovery, and healing.

As with any relationship, we must determine if working together will be a good fit to meet your needs. Contact me now to schedule your free 15 minute phone consultation.

About Me
License
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) #2587
Experience
Since 2008, I gained a majority of my counseling experience and training in both community-based residential and outpatient clinical settings. I worked mostly with adult, court-mandated clients recovering from substance abuse issues and co-occurring disorders, practicing from a harm reduction and strength-based modality. I also have experience working with adults presenting with a variety of mood and behavioral issues, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem, impulse control, and developmental and physical disabilities. I provided individual counseling and facilitated process and psychoeducation groups. For over four years, I successfully managed the largest clinical program at a non-profit community organization serving the Northern Peninsula of San Mateo County.
